Responsible for producing, co-creating & directing the award winning show 'ARTE - A Moving Masterpiece', featured on ‘Beyond’ for Celebrity Cruises.

•Acts as the voice and face of the ship and is the main contact point for all guests onboard. •Responsible for the programming and scheduling of all entertainment, social activities and any other functions deemed necessary or appropriate. With the assistance of the Entertainment Department, establishes and maintains the social ambiance of each cruise.•Supervises overall management of the day to day operation of vessel entertainment.•Oversees all forms of communication from daily announcements to publications and various forms of electronic communication, i.e. TV and radio.•Responsible for the management and motivation of all members of the department (Assistant Cruise Directors, Entertainers, Musicians, Production Cast, Youth Staff, Enrichment and Destination Lecturers, Clergy etc.).•Holds a responsible position in the ship's emergency plan reporting to the bridge, making announcements and communicating on behalf of the Captain.•Attends all executive and inter-departmental meetings, as directed by the Master or Hotel Manager.•Meets regularly with staff to discuss entertainment ideas and the operation of the department.•Makes periodic reports with each staff member on their individual performance in the form of a performance evaluation. •Is familiar with and executes the Seabourn Safety Management System appropriate to the position.•Is responsible for ensuring that personnel under the CD’s supervision are familiar with the Seabourn Safety Management System as it applies to their position.
