As an Organizational Development Co-ordinator I am engaged in Pact S.A.’s operations at all levels; from liaising with USAID Country Office in ensuring that the programmes/projects are implemented accordingly, policies and procedures are followed and contribute to prime partner selections [local NGOs] for funding by conducting organizational capacity assessments and make recommendations. My previous work experience which was at AIDS Foundation South Africa as a Capacity Building Officer / Co-ordinator entailed working closely with Community Based Organizations across the country who work in the field of HIV/AIDS, TB and PHC, anchored the skills that I currently possess, which include amongst the few; designing and provision of necessary capacity building programmes, accreditation process, training and facilitation, assessment and moderation, project and financial management management, monitoring & evaluation of programmes to ensure their impact and sustainability, and it made my transition of working in at a training institute to a grant-maker and donor levels much easier. I have also worked and liaised with government parastatals and private sector in facilitating partnerships and collaborations between themselves and the non-state sector, and with these initiatives I have been exposed significantly to the working nature of government parastatals and the private sector.My credentials which were acquired through formal education and on-work experiences have helped me to become very innovative; be a critical thinker; and can play a leadership role as well as be part of a team; hence I believe I can be a valuable asset for any organization or institution.
