• Contacting Import Clients to obtain Clearing Instruction; obtain Import Code, VAT number, Correct commercial invoices, Import Permits etc• Ensure that all clearance documents are obtained to process Clean Customs Clearance.• Daily communication made with (internal/external) on shipments which are still on query, update system accordingly.• Record accurate, complete and timely information on system to ensure global visible and consistent information. • Quality check information captured by Data Entry Clerk in order to correctly link Client’s details. • Proactively communicate and manage escalations for Customs Clearance.• Follow up on shipments given to Entry Clerks have Released Customs. • Ensure pre-clearance has been completed. • Ensure that Customer Satisfaction has been fulfilled internally and externally in order to maintain Customer loyalty and retention.• Identify ongoing issues and recommend solutions to resolve problems encountered.
