AboutIn 80's childhood I'm amazed with a black box (A transistor ) " A kind of black box saying Good morning to everyone at home" & curious to see who is making an audible sound and songs behind this mysterious box and suddenly the voice was gone for days , i have asked my mother & she said " your father will come and bring back that magic box to make sound again!Inside me questions " What is that driving that box with nice sound and vocals , father back for week end and he brought sweets , bread along with that a two piece of cylindrical solid thing wrapped together with plastic , inside that solid , labeled with black cats with white eyes! What is that again, a joyful evening was about to end, and a happy reunion with father , suddenly father said , "lets fix that magic box ! yeah lets fix! we said hurray!"its a Brown color box , rear side a thin wood cover with drill holes , so he carefully removed that back wooden cover , i said wow , i asked my father " what is that father, inside?" he replied "its a radio son catching signals from far away stations to listen news and songs" , again i am asking " father anybody inside there" , father grabbed me to his lap & allowed me to touch that solid state things! its a magic box with tiny parts ! what is that father , my father said its called radio! back to work, he removed those old cylindrical solids , then removed a torch light bulb and tested those three old cylindrical solids with a piece of a wire and a bulb , out of three one glowed well, so he gave the rejected two pieces for us to play and we while me and my brother rolling away those solid things , the magic box again started to making a noise with hiss & then yeah its started to make voice, my father is a hero , we said hurray with that sound again,Today I am missing my hero , but the way he guided me on electronics brought me to position as a technician at my early ages & at grade 11 as a young entrepreneur with radio/tv repair tech at village , Later best science instrumentation presenter at High school with LEDs & solar system planets finder , Best project support student at university, life is going with electronics , where my father used to say his experienced with steam engines at factories , but I never witnessed , ... technology keep changing but the days we passed and joys we made together remains for ever ...A recent day my son was asking, "what is Wi-Fi" , i said " its a black box son, catching signals from far away servers to help us watch cartoons " he said wow , that curiosity will guide him!!
