LAETA is a health care investment platform that owns or partners with companies that practice or want to learn to practice in ways that are more efficient, achieve more favorable patient outcomes, and better financial returns.

Dr. Sivers graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. For more than 15 years, he practiced in a multi-specialty practice and taught as an Associate Professor at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He was also the team dentist for the Boston Red Sox. In 2008, Dr. Sivers worked with colleagues at the Harvard Business School to discover more efficient ways to practice dentistry with fewer complications, better outcomes, and greater patient satisfaction.In 2018, Dr. Sivers co-founded a dental group focused on improving patient care and experiences. In 2019, he was asked to join the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Dental Group Practice (AADGP) and currently sits on the Advisory Board of the Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business Wheatley Institution and Progress Through Business, Inc.Dr. Sivers’ past dental activities include beta testing and implimenting digital impressions with MIT and Brontes Labs (now 3M); incorporating intraoral photography and 3-D imaging into routine patient care.Dr. Sivers and his wife love New England, have lived in the Boston area for over 20 years, and have three children. He has sung with the Boston Symphony Orchestra Tanglewood Festival Chorus, loves landscaping, and home renovations, is handy with a chainsaw, and swims, cycles, and routinely walks with his best friend, his wife.

For over fifteen years, Dr. Mark Sivers grew a fee-for-service multi-specialty dental practice and taught as an associate professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. He was also the team dentist for the Boston Red Sox. In 2008, together with Harvard Business School professors, he developed how to practice dentistry more efficiently with better outcomes, profitability, and fewer complications.In 2015, Mark founded Laeta, Inc, a healthcare investment company, and in 2017 co-founded Affiliated Dental Support, a multi-state DSO. In 2019, he was asked to be on the American Academy of Dental Group Practice (AADGP) Board of Directors.Dr. Sivers’ past activities have included: dental practice roll-ups; transitioning from dental insurance-based to fee-for-service dental practices; digital dental scanner beta testing and integration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology/ Brontes Technologies, and incorporating intra-oral photography into patient care to track changes over time and using CBCT imaging in routine patient care.

The AAGDP is dedicated to promoting the dental group concept and providing educational resources to group dentists and managers/administrators through our meetings, our networks and publications.

Dr. Sivers is a general dentist and saw patients from 1994-2017. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University and a D.M.D., summa cum laude, from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (TUSDM). Besides full-time private practice Dr. Sivers is a consultant to several investment and legal firms as well as an associate professor at TUSDM.

Dr. Sivers was a general dentist at Charles River Dental. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University and a D.M.D., summa cum laude, from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (TUSDM). Besides full-time private practice Dr. Sivers is a scientific-dental consultant to several finanical, private equity, venture capital, and legal firms as well as an associate professor at TUSDM.He is a member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, and American Academy of Facial Esthetics, A native of London, England Dr. Sivers and his wife have three children. He enjoys helping in thecommunity, traveling, swimming, biking, sailing, and writing.
