I started a new division within the Primo group dedicated to Poultry, the facility was vacant when I arrived and we built a management team, systems, procedures and NPD based around excitement and Innovation, the commitment was to provide 12 months of up front support to get the business operational.

I joined the family business Aldinga Turkeys (McLaren Vale, SA) in 1992 after travelling overseas and working in poultry processing businesses in Canada and the UK.I worked through a traineeship encompassing all facets of the business and ended up as joint CEO with my brother in 2003, I also became a director of the company.In 2005 Ingham's Enterprises bought the family business and I stayed on as General Manager for a period before being promoted to a national role heading up Ingham's National Turkey Operations in 2007, I relocated to Sydney and I worked out of Ingham's Head Office (Liverpool, NSW).I was appointed President of the Australasian Turkey Federation by my peers in 2012 and was in that role as well as my capacity at Ingham's until my departure in 2013.During my 21 years in the Turkey Industry I have developed a wide range of skills covering all vertical integration of the Poultry Industry from Breeding, Live Bird Grow Out, Primary Processing, Further Processing, Distribution/Warehousing and Sales/Marketing.I also had much involvement in New Product Development, Industrial Relations, Human Resources, Food Safety, OHSW, Cost reduction strategies, Environmental and Strategic Planning.
