About Steve Jeffries

My original career goal was in the accounting field. Part of my post grad education was in programming which I took to very fast and made into my eventual career. I helped to build accounting, sales, distribution, manufacturing and communication software from the ground up. I was always involved at the user level for both design of the systems and user training. After working as an employee for companies specializing mainly in software, insurance, apparel and entertainment I became a consultant and contract programmer.I am now looking for something that can be done part time and could be something in a 'giving back' field such as with a social service or non-profit organization.
