Delivering valued results through expertise and experience!I have been fortunate to have worked the last 34 years as a leader in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Products industry helping both the caregiver and manufacturers reduce cost while improving the quality of care. This does not happen, unless one truly understands the individual needs and potential opportunities within each health system to partner beyond the standard distribution agreement. I have been very successful in building these partnerships and negotiating these value agreements at the highest levels of organizations. This has allowed me the opportunity to develop exceptional industry relationships and to be recognized as a strategic leader. In my last 5 years at Cardinal Health, I had the responsibility of developing and leading the Federal Government strategy. It was extremely rewarding to work with the DOD and VA leadership to better understand the complexities involved in serving this business. I’ve had the pleasure of winning contracts for the DOD and VA Prime Vendor programs, as well as other product and service contracts i.e. DAPA, FSS, BPAs, FMS, etc. worth in excess of $1 billion annually. In my Government tenure, I’ve loved digging into and understanding the value of small business and priority contracting opportunities. I found success in helping to build both an SBA Mentor Protege partnership and a working relationship with the National Industry for the Blind (NIB) to develop product opportunities. Using these experiences, along with the knowledge, skills and relationships I have developed, I feel there are great opportunities to develop significant value for both large and small businesses in serving their Government customers. I am passionate about this and want to help!
