Implement community outreach to share awareness about RainWise - a program offered by Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) and King County Wastewater Treatment Division (WTD). Attend events and workshops to share information about the RainWise rebate program for eligible properties, prepare reports to show level of outreach, and develop new strategies and ideas for future outreach.

Liaised with advertisers/sponsors and maintained relations for the magazine, which was published quarterly. I also helped to coordinate the logistics for Round Table discussions, managed the e-newsletter and collaborated with the design team to develop articles related to conferences attended.

Worked with a full service production team to support client’s ambitions – through great design, impactful communication and solid research. I managed and contributed to a number of projects including, a whiteboard video for the National Dialogue Network, website rebrand and development for GSG Financial, webinar and podcast creation on a collaborative project with the National Energy Assistance Directors’ Association, and material design and development for Project Energy Savers. A key focus of my role was also working on State & Local Energy Report (see description above for more information).I also contributed to business development activities for the company (including attending events and implementing the social media strategy for the company), and organized a series of local clean energy group gatherings in the DUMBO/Brooklyn area.

Worked with and managed a small team as part of a 50 hour Bootcamp training on green jobs, small business energy efficiency and auditing. The team conducted education and outreach with small businesses on energy incentive programs available to them, carried out a number of level 1 energy audits (lighting surveys), and produced reports to show the savings and efficiencies based on recommended upgrades.Following completion of the program I became an Alumni Member and have made invaluable contributions to the Win-Win Campaign's Alumni Committees (see 'Volunteer' section below for more information)

I worked on a range of issues from local participation, corporate responsibility and business development plans, to health, sustainability, energy, water, transport, infrastructure, through waste and other environmental and planning issues within the public and private sectors. Clients included organisations such as The National Grid, Thames Water, UK Power Networks, Defra, the Department for Transport, the Department of Health, the Environment Agency, Natural England, Surrey County Council and Cambridgeshire County Council. During my time at Dialogue by Design I had three roles:> As a Senior Project Manager for over four years, I designed, planned, managed, provided advice, monitored the progress of and contributed to a wide range of short and long-term statutory and non-statutory consultation and engagement projects and processes (including face-to-face events, paper and electronic surveys). I also managed and evaluated the work of analysts, report writers and data entry clerks that used bespoke software to handle survey data sets, and contributed to business development activities at the organization. The largest consultation I managed had over 50,000 responses - it was a National consultation that had extremely tight turnaround times for analysis and reporting.> As a Project Manager for two years, I coordinated and managed several small-scale consultation projects, liaising closely with clients and key stakeholders. I contributed to a number of event-related projects - supporting the facilitation of both small and large-scale deliberative meetings and workshops (including small group facilitation, table-top facilitation, note-taking and/or scribing plenary or small group sessions using flip charts or projected laptop recording). > As a Project Assistant for six months, I supported project managers and helped draft and review consultation materials, for both members of the public and key stakeholders.

Conducted a number of phone interviews and the outputs were compiled and published in IFLR1000, which shares information on the leading law firms for corporate finance.

Placed by the above recruitment agencies to undertake a number of roles on a casual basis, including Invigilator at Southwark College, Audio Typist at JP Morgan Stanley Quilter, and Secretary at Brixton PLC.

> As a Conference Officer for two months, I helped prepare for the CIB 2003 International Conference on Smart and Sustainable Built Environment, and for QUT Research Week, which involved a conference, research day and an industry day.> As a Research Associate, who specialized in environmental sustainability, I worked for over a year alongside the Project Leader for a Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) for Construction Innovation Project. Soon after my time as a researcher Dr Jay Yang and I jointly published an article, “The Exploration of Attitudinal Issues and Decision-Making of Key Stakeholders in Sustainable Housing Development” for an International Conference on engaging communities.> As a Part-time Academic, I delivered some lectures to construction and quantity surveying students on sustainable development.

Carried out cumulative research related to sustainability, benchmarking and guideline development for the travel & tourism industry. This role contributed to the learning for the Special Topics course I undertook as part my studies at the University of Queensland.

Conducted research on sustainable destination management. This role was part of my Industry Placement for my studies at the University of Queensland.

Assisted students in their learning on the course ‘Environment and Society’.
