About Sarah Thomson

I like to collaborate with others and assist clients in designing and managing project solutions. I'm currently working with Sustainable Ballard on outreach for the RainWise Program in Seattle. Prior to moving to Seattle, I managed a series of creative and educational projects in the energy and water sectors in New York. I also worked as a project manager for several years at a London-based consultancy, in the public engagement and consultation field. I thoroughly enjoy designing and managing projects – seeing people talk, learn from each other and ultimately work together to achieve solutions. I made several invaluable contributions to many ongoing face-to-face, paper and web-based projects, in the public and private sectors. Before working in this field I undertook research in both Australia and Canada, focusing on sustainability. At University I studied Environmental Management, specializing in Sustainable Development (achieving Honors).
