As a Marketing and Events Assistant at North Carolina Zoo, I plan and execute internal and external events and outreach activities that promote the zoo's mission, vision, and values. I have been working in this role for over two years, and I enjoy creating memorable experiences for our guests, partners, and staff.I have a strong background in hospitality and tourism management, with an associate's degree from Florida State College at Jacksonville and a bachelor's degree in progress from University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I also have a keen interest in graphic design, which I studied at The Art Institute of Jacksonville. I use my organization, teamwork, and creativity skills to support the marketing department and collaborate with other departments and stakeholders. My goal is to become a professional event coordinator and to make fantastic events.
