Responsibilities• Develop product vision and align it with business vision • Develop product strategy and align it with business strategy • Develop and manage product roadmap • Grow, manage and mentor the team including product owners, managers, designers and researchers • Align product with other business units including engineering, marketing, sales and finance • Establish and oversee product/market research Achievements• Built the product team from zero to seven to support three engineering teams and one innovation team. This includes one product owner, two product managers, two product/UX designers, one researcher and one customer trial specialist. • Introduced a product development process to shift validation of ideas from post development to predesign. This was implemented in order to ensure we built the right product as quickly as possible by identifying and solving the most valuable problems. • Introduced the concept of deep vs shallow products and built a culture of focus in order to develop sufficient value to drive adoption. • Took the core SaaS product from concept to market and then expanded the offering into additional services. • Led research into AI technology solutions to determine the technical strategy to lay the foundation for future innovation and differentiation. • Participated in a winning hackathon (internal) team exploring a real-time labour tracking and reporting tool.
