Responsible for obtaining quotes for subcontract requirements and consumable materials for the refurbishment process and manufacture of new gas turbine engine components. Also quoted and entered purchase orders for new parts sales. Maintained inventory item number masters and manual oversight of purchase orders for acid for stripping area, gases for entire plant and kerosene for thermal spray area. Ordered abrasives, safety items, chemicals, office supplies and on-site service work for maintenance. Research new vendors and maintain existing vendor relationships to ensure cost and delivery. Assist accounting in regards to receiving/invoicing problems and corrections.

Responsible for ordering all consumable materials needed in the refurbishment process of gas turbine engine components. Maintain proper inventory levels, ordered safety items, chemicals, office supplies and outside vendor processes. Additionally responsible for sub contract purchase orders and ordering parts to be drop shipped customers. Maintain vendor relationships to ensure cost and delivery. Researching new vendors to obtain quote on materials as well as facility and capital projects. Assist accounting in regards to receiving/invoicing problems and corrections. Oversight of building security, fire alarm system and facility maintenance. Accepted transfer to NC facility 2010.

Daily receiving of petroleum invoices and billing of clients for fuel deliveries. General ledger entry, accounts payable, accounts receivable with weekly customer statement processing and reconciliation of bank statements. Weekly wage calculations issuing pay for drivers. Daily tracking of EFT account including invoices, credit memos, credit cards receipts & chargebacks, payment of invoices and fund transfers.

Enter purchaser orders, inventory, receiving, accounting, created spreadsheets for management and reconciled bank statements. Handled direct shipping cost documentation, including cartage and ocean freight, battery pack/charger costs, insurance and other incurred landing costs. Additionally provided assistance in the accounts payable department and training several people for that position.

Purchaser for all components used in the manufacture of mechanical recorders, electronic flow meters and odorization systems used in the natural gas industry. Maintained inventory levels while supervising two staff members in shipping and receiving. Eliminated obsolete materials, reduced waste, and enhanced inventory management processes. Verified invoices and processed A/P when position was vacant.
