I am the the Director of Counseling and Accommodation Center and the Student Health and Wellness Center at Champlain College As the director of the Counseling and Accommodation Center I provide direct supervision to the 504 coordinator who ensures our students with disabilities have equal access as mandated by the Americans with Disabilities Act.In addition to this I provides both clinical and administrative supervision to a team of four clinicians. In my role as Director of the Student Health and Wellness Center I oversees and manages a staff that consists of a Nurse Practitioner, RN, part time psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and the health and wellness operations manager. My strengths include responding and intervening in crisis situations, assisting students in developing skills that allow them to manage their mental health issues, advocating for students, assisting students in identifying and using available resources and team leadership.
