Qc Manager Federal Project
CurrentPrimary function of this position is to assure that the completed project meets all quality requirements of the contract. Project worked on is a for Cold Regions Research Facility (CRREL) in Hanover NH and managed by the United States Army Core of Engineers (USACE). Project involved construction pre-engineered metal building to house custom Cold Chamber Enclosure. This climate chamber is for testing military Humvee vehicles and has capacity to modulate temperature from -85 degrees F to 185 degrees F at a rate of 2 degrees F per minute. Development of contractor quality control (CQC) plan that outlines for entire team the required standards of quality construction. Schedule, lead and document preparatory, initial, and follow up meetings for each definable feature of work. Conduct QC weekly progress meetings following developed agenda and produce timely meeting minutes. Maintain and manage submittal and RFI documentation utilizing both USACE RMS computer server program and P&S server files. Review all incoming submittal documents for completeness and compliance with contract documents. Monitor activities of subcontractors to ensure materials, installation and construction comply with contract requirements.
