Utilizing my 22+ years of experience as a Professional Open Pit Mine Engineer including the nearly 7 years on various international assignments in Chile, Australia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan and Africa. I have extensive experience with Long and Short Term Mine Planning, Open Pit Optimization, Open Pit Designs, Open Pit Scheduling and Tailings Storage Facility Design, Construction and Management. I have worked with precious and base metals, as well as industrial minerals on projects ranging from 2ktpd to 400ktpd operations. I have extensive experience working in remote mining camps both in Canada and abroad. I also have extensive experience working in Arctic conditions and with many cultures including Aboriginals, First Nations and the local national people and communities of other countries. I am proficient in the use of Mining Software packages such as Whittle, Surpac, MineSched, GEMS and Q’Pit along with other software packages such as Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
