I'm motivated by people and am passionate about applying Lean Six Sigma, statistics, data analysis, robotic process automation (RPA), process mining, coaching, facilitation, and project management to solve tough problems with teams.The best way for me to lend insight about how I think and lead is to share principles that I follow in my daily work:- Partner with customers- Error-proof, reduce process waste, and simplify- Push autonomy to the people with information- Reward curiosity and experimentation. Iterate, manage risks, and communicate effectively to navigate the quirks of the innovation process.- Prioritize improvement and quality. Make decisions with the cost of poor quality ratio in mind. A defect becomes more expensive the later it is addressed: $1 (Design/Dev): $10 (QA): $100 (Pilot / EAP) : $1000 (External).- Frame issues as an opportunity for root learning (uncover the hidden problems, measure, prioritize)- Go and see the problem to find variation and waste. Understand the true current state with observation and data. Get clear lines of sight on problems with meaningful data. Make the data accessible.- Focus on modeling and reinforcing healthy team habits (e.g., documentation & knowledge sharing)
