Effective leader, seeking a career change, where I can be challenged, and my skills can be utilized. I have a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, with a focus in Animal Science and a minor in Biochemistry. While veterinary medicine requires unique and specific skills, I have gained universal experience and skills that can be utilized in any industry. Working as a leader the last 4 years, I have gained the unique understanding of what it takes to train, manage, and inspire a team. I am accustomed to and thrive in a fast-paced environment where patients’ and clients’ needs are a priority and handling multiple tasks simultaneously is part of a normal routine. As a leader, I have contributed to my team by being dependable, maintaining a positive and safe work environment, facilitated the development of both technical and interpersonal skills for all associates, and maintained a standard quality of care. While working at NVA O’Connor Road Animal Hospital, I was able to expand my management skills in assisting the hospital manager with the day to day needs of the business. I have gained experience working closely and fostering relationships with vendors and support specialists from industry leaders. I learn quickly, enjoy working hard and am eager to take on a new industry while serving your team.
