Early on in my college career, I decided to take initiative and study something that I really had a passion for. This led me to becoming part of the sport administration program at Ball State University. Studying in a program which combines business studies and sport was an incredible experience. I discovered that my passion for sport combined with my interest in business is a perfect fit. As a student within the sport administration program, I accrued over 100 hours of volunteer experience, cooperating with Ball State Athletics to fulfill tasks before, during, and after sporting events. In addition, I worked with the Sport Administration Association, which is a student-based organization for professional development within the sport industry. From an academic perspective, I earned a place on the Dean's List during all eight semesters during my time at Ball State University. Organization is a very noteworthy quality of mine. When it comes to being a student, organization is absolutely essential to success. This will translate very well into the workplace, as organization is just as important within the professional world. In addition, I have the ability to work together in small groups and teams to complete tasks. Throughout many of my courses and even within the Sport Administration Association, I was expected to execute tasks in groups. These experiences will be very helpful in the workplace. I would greatly appreciate a position which would enable me to combine my social media marketing skills with my passion for athletics. My skills and qualities would be very beneficial to a sport organization or sport marketing agency.
