A 150-page research report including review of existing scholarship, qualitative and quantitative analysis, interviews with public officials, and normative recommendations.

•Carried out an aggressive agenda of land use reform and economic development initiatives in the poorest, most densely populated community in the State of RI, while navigating the complex political/financial environment of State Receivership and Chapter 9 bankruptcy.-Drafted language and performed research for various elements of the 5-year update to the Central Falls Comprehensive Community Plan.-Wrote applications for and administered various grants programs including the Community Development Block Grant, RIDEM Targeted Brownfield Assessment Grant, and Statewide Planning Challenge Grant.-Authored and enacted tax ordinance to encourage investment in Central Falls jobs, equipment, and buildings.-Facilitated zoning amendment process that brought about pedestrian-friendly zoning ordinance revision, eliminating minimum parking requirements for most business classifications on Central Falls’ main streets.-Founded, organized and coordinated the Central Falls “Bright Future Festival”, an Hispanic Heritage month event and the first official partnership between the Pawtucket Arts Festival and the City of Central Falls.-Launched a “government 2.0” digital initiative that saw the creation of a City Facebook page, the update of the City’s website, and a push to provide free public WiFi in the City’s flagship public park.
