During my time as a freelancer, I took on various roles and projects. I designed, developed, and launched numerous websites and website redesigns for diverse clients, including t-shirt shops, healthcare providers, and market research firms. I also provided photography services and photo editing. Additionally, I helped clients with their website's graphic design, conducted usability testing for international clients, and provided UX and Content Strategy consultations to enhance customer experiences and increase engagement and sales.Furthermore, I assisted clients in generating content for the web, such as long and short-form articles, along with social media and news writing. I also provided proofreading and substantive editing of online and printed publications.

In my role as the webmaster for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, I was responsible for designing/developing websites the agency's Intranet and its graphics. I also created design outlines, storyboards, and wireframes to guide staff in their web-based projects. Ensuring that these projects adhered to proper UX conventions and Accessibility guidelines was a top priority. In addition, I was responsible for creating content and editing copy for various projects. As one of the State of Tennessee's pioneer social media managers, I set up and managed multiple departmental Facebook pages and Twitter accounts. I also mentored multiple staff members who oversaw regional and activity-driven media. Additionally, I wrote user guides, acceptable use, moderation policies, and administrative guides for social media use by state employees. I developed promotions and social marketing plans to increase user engagement and promote awareness of departmental programs.One of my most significant achievements as a web developer was managing a large-scale project to create a native mobile application for the TWRA on both the iOS and Android platforms. I designed the user interface and managed a programming team in creating and launching "TWRA on The Go" in 2012-13. The app was downloaded over a half a million times in its first iteration and received excellent (5-star) ratings on both platforms. It was one of the State of Tennessee's first in-house mobile applications.

Additionally, I produced content on government issues and politics for the Macon County Times and was responsible for taking photographs for both publications.

During my time as a psychiatric technician, I provided direct care and intervention to incarcerated patients at Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institute. My responsibilities involved observing patients' emotional and mental states and reporting these to nursing staff. I also carried out administrative tasks such as updating patient records on the computer system, copying the daily unit census, admitting patients, and managing shift overtime schedules.I also served as a member of the program staff, where I was responsible for timekeeping for the Children & Youth program at the same hospital. Additionally, I was responsible for creating administrative documents for shift supervisors, providing technical support for computer hardware and software problems, and organizing the program's archive files.
