About Simon Macarthur

Having a unique skillset that blends data science algorithms and techniques with my software engineering background allows me to design and develop unique solutions to strategic problems. I have developed solutions to support strategic objectives such as increase customer retention and reduce costs.I develop innovative solutions using Python, JavaScript and Angular utilising back-end databases such as SQL Server, Oracle and newer technologies including MongoDB and Neo4J. I develop machine learning algorithms to solve a business problem or provide further insight into challenging areas of the business. I then blend this with a software engineering solution including API development or full stack software solutions. I have built predictive models for the entire customer lifecycle, utilising Python, scipy and other techniques to develop, test and operationalise machine learning algorithms across a variety of domains, such as retention, fraud and sales.
