 Involved in the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts and annual financial statements and dealt with external as well as internal auditors. Product costing and analysis of cost components through SAP-CO. Preparation & monitoring of annual budget of company & departments. Variance analysis and monitoring of wastage of material & resources. Conducting and presenting of BMR (Budget Monitoring Report) to budget committee on monthly basis, further its follow up and preparation of report for compliance of the minutes. OPEX & CAPEX analysis. Ensure that the financial statements are in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and Standards as applicable in Pakistan. Supervision accounting team for maintenance of books of accounts, ensures completion of related activities on monthly and annual closing activities Profitability analysis of all division (Chemical, Gases & Agri Division). Feasibility Studies of New Business Projects regarding Project cost, projected cash flow, production capacity & cost, Project’s Payback, IRR. and NPV. Ensuring the input of data accurately on monthly closing in SAP. Planning the cost estimates on monthly basis. Verification of export inquiries regarding product cost and net margin. Coordination during implementation of SAP and ABAP team. Providing financial analysis and reports to Group Director to facilitate the process of decision making. Responsible of all master data in SAP regarding Cost Element Accounting (OM-CCA), Profit Center Accounting (EC-PCA), Internal Orders, Cost Center Accounting (OM-CCA), FI (GL, AP , FA). Supervision of monthly and annual Physical Stock taking and Coordination with External auditors. Preparation of Financial Analysis and reports on monthly basis.

 Manage monthly closing and reporting process related to manufacturing and product costing. Review & monitor production orders for verification as per BOM and investigate the variance immediately. Financial analysis and insight into the following areas; - Product Costs (Brand wise & Package Wise). - Product Gross Margin. - Operational Costs (Labour & Overhead). - Material Variances (Quantity & Usage). - Fixed and Variable cost analysis for Breakeven point. - Capacity utilization of each line of production. Maintaining of cost center and profit center hierarchy.  Ensure that inventories are accurately valued for standard costing system. Maintain proper job order/ standard costing system. Review & Update BOM & Routing in consultation with production department. Analyze and review budgets and expenditures for each department.  Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels, and ensure expenditure control.  Plan, coordinate and lead periodic physical count of inventory.  Closely monitor the actual wastage of material & report any major variance immediately. Product cost controlling: Planning cost estimates with quantity structure and costing run. Maintaining of cost center and profit center hierarchy. Coordination with ABAP developer’s team for special and ad hoc reports. Prepare various ad hoc financial analyses as required by the management. All Month end closing activities in SAP CO module.
