Advocated for food security issues across the UCLA and broader Los Angeles community. As a Basic Needs Coordinator I managed the Grocery Bundle Program which provided weekly meals to 35 students and families in the UCLA community. Developed project management and budget oversight skills while working the UCLA Community Programs Office (CPO) Food Closet. Helped raise money to increase funding for Food Closet programming, food diversity, and expansion. As a student leader, I formed interpersonal relationships with a variety of student organizations, staff, and UCLA administration to raise awareness and garner support for food insecure students and community members.

Chair of the Student Initiated Outreach Committee where I managed a $1.4 million dollar budget to provide access for low income students of color into higher education. Developed and managed outreach strategy including branding, messaging, and communications for UCLA student government and referendum campaigns at UCLA.
