Shifting my job responsibilities away from people management to focus on technical delivery and business development while keeping a focus on Microsoft SharePoint.

One of the managers for HP's Microsoft Practice, focusing in Microsoft SharePoint. Responsibilities include product development and resource management.

Worked as a technical consultant, primarily with Microsoft SharePoint, in HP's Microsoft Practice. My projects included migration from other systems and document collaboration. My typical responsibilities included architecting and installing new systems, developing custom components for new or existing applications, and providing technical advice and support.

Designed and implemented a data mart schema and ETL scripts using SQL Server 2005 for patent data mining activities. Also created simulations of various business scenarios as part of internal studies; results were later used to support business cases. A winning team member of the 2006 National EDS Intern Case Competition, Detroit team, and featured in an internal news article in August 2006.

Maintained a large and complex web-based system to browse and query biological pathways with our development team; specifically maintaining an advanced querying interface (http://nashua.case.edu/pathwaysweb/). Also implemented several parts of research in C# 2.0 and executed experiments on biological pedigree data. In both of these areas of research, I have been a co-author of published papers; details of these publications can be found later in my profile. I also presented a poster on behalf of our group in the spring of 2007.

Maintained a network consisting of one server and seven client computers, recommending new computing solutions as needed. Also architected, developed, and maintained a Microsoft Access database to organize condominium work orders that helped increase office productivity.

Peer Tutor: Tutored undergraduates in computer science courses(Feb 2006 - May 2006)TA, Grader: Worked with a second-semester, first-year data structures course; was responsible for grading Java programming homework(Jan 2006 - Feb 2006)TA, Recitation Leader: Worked with an advanced section of a first-semester, first-year programming course in Java. Was responsible for leading a weekly hour long recitation session of twenty students. Also created and graded weekly programming assignments.(Aug 2005 - Dec 2005)
