I worked as a paraprofessional at the Red Clay Consolidated School District during Summer 2019. In this position, I assisted students in the Meadowood Transition Program. The Meadowood Transition Program is a program for students with intellectual disabilities to help them transition into life after the age of 21. I helped students achieve IEP goals and daily tasks while learning how to assist their academic and emotional growth.

My role as an Operations Analyst Intern at U.S. Small Business Administration Headquarters allowed me to gain valuable experience working in a fast-paced environment. I analyzed data of 1.9 million new clients to create comprehensive SOP reports and management board lists, managed portfolios, completed projects and problem solved. Additionally, I received a Certificate of Appreciation for converting over 20 documents to apply the Federal Government 508 Compliance Standards using Microsoft Office and creating labor distribution summaries.

As a camp counselor I planned and lead engaging, fun and educational activities for children ages 5 to 10 years old. This role allowed me to provided a positive environment to support social and emotional growth of the children.

On a weekly basis, I helped young children experiencing homelessness learn how to read and improve cognitive development. I read to them and helped them learn new skills such as sorting based on colors.
