    With a lot of help, I have turned my passions of model trains and cool technology into a successful and efficient on-line business for selling both new and antique used model trains selling on eBay and the company website Trainz.com. We previously sold on Amazon, Walmart, Sears, and our own TrainzAuctions.com site, but have decided to just focus on eBay and our website.The company has grown from $0 in 1997 to over $10MM in revenues with 65+ full and part-time team members working in 4 buildings totaling 32,000 sq.ft.We accomplished this by developing our own proprietary ERP, Inventory and warehouse management software and integrating it with several other SaaS software programs to efficiently handle thousands of monthly transactions and hundreds of thousands of SKU’s. We are in the process of rolling out our new Inventory program “Tricia” which we have built using an Angular framework. I have been working on continually improving the culture at Trainz and we have now been certified as a Great Place to Work for two years now. We have achieved a 98% overall score form our team agreeing with the statement “I think overall Trainz is a great place to work”. #GPTWcertified

    Here I started as a call center consultant to turnaround a troubled 100 agent call center, which resulted in an $8MM contract renewal for the company.I then led a transition/implementation team for a $30MM telecommunications outsourcing project which resulted in a very satisfied client and a reference model for the company.I then moved into sales and client management where I sold an initial $3MM ebusiness hosting contract that we turned into a $50MM ebusiness contract over the first five years and expanded internationally with a merger at the client.

    GE recruited me out of Engineering school into their Manufacturing Management Program and gave me a tour of the country including stops in Erie, PA, Portsmouth, VA, Cincinnati, Louisville, and Atlanta.I received great management training from GE including two trips to their corporate training facility in Crotonville, NY. I did Engineering projects in heavy manufacturing, supervised the shutdown of the last two B&W television production lines in the US, and held several positions in the Computer Service business.My favorite assignments were building business units for the Computer Service business. In 2 years I increased the revenues of the Kentucky Service district from $1.8MM to $5.2MM, then I created the national call taking and technician dispatch center from scratch, and then created and managed the Inventory Remarketing business selling more than $100MM in excess, obsolete, and lease return inventory.
