I led a campaign that secured NHS funding and resources to build a suicide bereavement support service in every area of England. I significantly progressed our vision that everyone bereaved or affected by suicide is offered timely and appropriate support.I grew the SASP from a small collective of 20 charities to a national network of over 150 organisations, joined-up to our vision. I brought together charity, public and private sectors, government, and NGOs. I worked with the board to strategically identify and follow through on opportunities to reach those impacted by suicide, making significant progress at a strategic level. I tackled complex situations to protect vulnerable people.
