- Extensive knowledge and skill in using government reporting systems- Strong working relationships with federal and state government agencies- Deep knowledge of natural resource conservation issues and practices in Arizona- Manages/administers federal, state, and local government grants and agreements - Works with and helps to manage Conservation Districts- Coordinates and manages a substantial number of conservation and educational projects- Works closely with Arizona farmers and ranchers to apply conservation practices to their lands,- Managed over $18 million in federal and state funds over the last decade, including funding from the NRCS, BLM, and other state and federal government agencies - Maintains general ledger, BOD reporting, federal and state reporting, contractor and employee pay systems, and tax reporting - Plans and schedules semi-annual BOD meetings and monthly Executive Committee meetings- Manages internal and external communications – email, phone, website, social media- Collaborates with stakeholders, presenters, attendees, vendors, and exhibitors to organize and execute fundraisers, conferences, training sessions, and BOD meetings; set event budgets, maintain records, registration, and track event performance- Maintains SAM, CAGE, DUNS, Corporation Commission, and Comptrollers- Files Federal Reporting: 990, 940, 941, W2, W4, 1099, 1098- Prepares monthly and annual financial reports, develop and track budgets, prepare BOD and Executive Board presentations, and project deliverable reports- Administers and monitor contractors and employees- Coordinates and monitors fundraising and grant proposals

PROJECTS & GRANTS MANAGERCoordinate and manage a substantial number of conservation and educational projects, grants and agreements with multiple partners, including state, federal, county, private, and non-government entities.- Write and submit required quarterly, annual and close out reports to all federal, state, and local parties involved in grants projects supported by the AACD, multiple Natural Resource Conservation Districts and individual producers across the state of Arizona - Set and track goal attainment for conservation and educational projects, grants, and agreements with multiple partners, including state, federal, county, private and non-governmental entities- Federal Reporting: SF270, SF424+, Federal Audit Clearinghouse, Grants.gov, ASAP- Report project deliverables and milestones as required by each government grant and agreement- Develop, maintain, and monitor project plans, schedules, deadlines, hours, budgets, expenditures, and overall project goals- Organize and facilitate stakeholder meetings- Coordinate and monitor contractors and employees- Deep familiarity and understanding of federal/state soils, water, and rangeland programs- Served on multiple State Natural Resource Grant Selection committeesRANGELAND ANALYSTRangeland and Conservation consulting work in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, Idaho, California, Colorado, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Australia. - Conduct studies for rangeland monitoring and assessment - Develop rangeland management and grazing plans - Manage employees and coordinate contractors - Oversee project coordination and report development- Track delivery and milestones
