Sr. Software Test Engineer
Current• Software QA tester with full system development lifecycle experience, including designing, developing and implementing test plans, test cases and test processes fueling swift corrective actions.• Accustomed to working in complex, project-based environments. Multifaceted experience in QA software testing, software development and user-acceptance testing.• Documented software defects using bug tracking system and reported defects involving program functionality, output, online screen and content to software developers.• Responsible for good overall quality of Medrio product releases.• Define and implement items that increase the efficiency of test processes.• Work with third party clients for our mobile and BI applications and ensure its quality• Write and verify defects discovered in the application.• Create and maintain technical documentation for test plans and test cases.• Plan sprint cycles by working closely with product and development teams.• Performance testing and verifying logs via splunk• Testing new product features of our web-based hosted SaaS applications to ensure the design and implementation is accurate• Primarily responsible to maintain the QA database for over 12000+ test cases• Design and execute test plans, test cases and scripts using QA Database• Document Software defects using TFS and report defects to developers• Collaborate with the team in an Agile environment and work closely with Developers and Product team• Manually test the ASP.net system on various browsers and OS• Coordinate with offshore team• Proficient in SQL queries to validate the backend with the expected results obtained actually• Verify logging errors in the app servers to debug various issues• Proficient in iOS and Android application testing.
