I have worked for a leading and major Financial Account in Denmark to deliver large and complex solutions for their IT Infrastructure. I am involved right from solution maturing phase, working with the technical teams/customer for approvals. I am also involved in the cost estimation, budget approvals followed by planning phase of the project. Post the Kick off Call, I conduct the project definition workshop with all the identified stakeholders to gather requirements and define the scope. Based on the workshop, the project definition report(PDR) is designed and approvals taken from all stakeholders to baseline the project with regard to scope, cost and time. Any changes to the project is handled via the account specific change management process through the basis of this PDR. I work on a detailed implementation plan using MS Project and track all the activities against the plan. I effectively monitor the work performance metrics as per the Earned Value Management to track the project. I conduct the regular Technical Project Review Meetings, Customer facing Meetings, attend Review Meetings weekly and produce all documentation and minutes as appropriate. Closely work on managing risks and issues impacting project deliverable to ensure the project is successfully delivered within the defined constraints. I capture the lessons learnt on closure of the project and archive them in the project documentation and ensure all project documentation is complete throughout the project as per the account specific processesFocal for Software Licensing As the focal for Software Licensing for Ameriprise Account in IBM, my role was to track the SW Issues related to licensing for the Mainframe and Distributed Software products.Responsible for handling any changes with the SW related to upgrades, new release or decommission in going through the Change Control Board for the final approvals.

I handled projects right from the inception till the end successfully producing Class III railway products which includes the Audio Frequency Track Circuit and Microcontrollers for the UK Railways Department. I was involved with the new product development activities for this project which includes the Configuration Management, Advanced Product Quality Planning, Customer Input Review Analysis, Risk Analysis and First Article Inspection. I was also involved with the management and control activities to help set enterprise strategies and to determine an accurate product and service cost, improve business processes, eliminate waste, identify cost drivers, and plan operations. Both prototype as well as bulk production tuning to an amount of $100,000 were successfully delivered well within the delivery schedule and to the customer satisfaction.

Involved in, planning & implementing repair and maintenance schedules of multi-disciplinary equipment’s like IT, electronic, communication equipment’s and automobiles of Army units to increase machine up-time/reliability and providing engineering support operationsSustained operations through focusing on budgeting, cost analysis & cost optimization. Automated the process of inventory section (with the help of TSS S/W package) thereby saving manual labor. As a member of Ideas and Innovation Cell implemented the projects on Kaizen involving innovating and designing low cost and quality oriented techniques and products to technical problems in Vehicles and technical equipment’s of Indian Army. Mobilised assets worth approx. $100,000 during mock drill operations at Indian Army. Key Projects handledSetting up of a New Raising Unit – Electronics and Mechanical Workshop, Indian ArmyI was involved in the project to raise a new Electronics and Mechanical workshop within a stipulated duration of one year, at a location which was in disuse for 8 years. The tasks included strategic planning of the location for siting the workshop, liaison with external agencies for allocation of manpower and resources, procurement of assets, meeting the training demands and efficiently managing the team. I managed, scheduled and controlled project issues across various teams. I did regular review to monitor key milestones, scope, budget and timescales. Executed contingency plans, escalated processes on critical path and resolved all relevant issues to complete the project before the date of completion. Was awarded with the Certificate of Merit for professional excellence. Infrastructure Project for setting up of a Network Maintenance CentreImplemented the project of setting up of Network Maintenance Centre for repair and maintenance of computers.Was also involved with writing policies for security management, sensitising the environment through awareness and communication plan .
