Working as an event manager in an iconic award winning wedding venue in Kent. Duties and responsibilities included:• Preparing client proposals and menus bespoke to the clients requests and requirements.• Managing and coordination the information for multiple events at any one time.• Insuring all the information in the build up to the event has been noted and recorded. String administration skills.• Compiling invoices and event schedules in line with the events criteria. Issuing final invoice post event• Finically responsible for the department profitability, compiling event costing and using labour ratios • Operational management on the day of the event, ensuring times are adhered to and the event runs smoothly to exceed clients expectations• Dealing with event staff, determining the staffing levels required and booking all staff for the various events. As the Events Manager, I was responsible for managing the event business which ranged from weddings up to 200 to small private dinner parties.
