During the five year period the role involved the establishment of a logistics hub in Shanghai, and latterly the redevelopment of an existing group facility in to a UK distribution centre. Extensive business travel throughout the far-east, middle-east and Europe during this position has provided an invaluable insight in to global supply chain.During my tenure with Grafton I was appointed to and represented the group as a member of the pan-European WIM Co-Operative Procurement Board. -

Succeeded through thinking 'outside the box' and persuading other managers/directors at Deva to agree to providing in-house sourced displays and using our internal staff for merchandising and store re-fit for the range review. The result was brilliant and won Deva supplier of the year for partnership two years on the run. Following management changes at Deva, I accepted an offer to become the Trading Director at Plumbworld in September 2004, and was held on garden leave until January 2005.
