Choosing the right EV EV Charger The key to choosing the right EV Charger is to check the maximum charge rating of your vehicle - there is no point ordering a charger that has a maximum rate in excess of your vehicles charging capacity (unless you want to future proof your installation), and just as important, your home or office electrical supply. In most homes you'll probably have a single phase supply, so a 7KW Smart Charger is your most likely option. For office and workplace installations, if you have a 3 Phase supply you may be able to enjoy faster charging using an 11kw 3 Phase charger, if your vehicle can charge at a faster rate.
