Chosen as one of the three high school department leads. As a collaborative group we are tasked with data collection and analysis of the success in our departments. Using the data this group is designated to help other educators plan high-quality and inclusive health and fitness lessons. I am currently working closely with the director of health and fitness as well as the other members of the team to integrate the use of technology into all health and fitness courses as well as working to update all curriculum ensuring they meet the specific needs to k-12 educational settings, enhance learning experiences, and promote inclusive education.

Devise and apply innovative teaching methods across multiple curriculums and teaching environments, as well as foster a collaborative environment. Implement strategic initiatives in Positive Behavior Intervention System (PBIS) to improve student behavior. Dedicate time to community enrichment by coaching Special Olympics Basketball and Soccer as well as serving as a Class Advisor, CPR/First Aid building trainer, and Gym Manager for sporting events. Organize comprehensive leadership training to enhance professional growth and effectiveness. Established nurturing classroom environment and built strong relationships with students in an alternate schooling environment. Conducted comprehensive student assessments and diligently collected data, ensuring personalized educational approaches. Set and executed new classroom rules, routines, and expectations, fostering a structured and conducive learning atmosphere. During this time, I also achieved significant student growth in all areas via effective curriculum mapping and collaboration with Pierce College for students to earn dual credits.

This position was accepted as I graduated college and was looking for experience and then again when I was transitioning into a traditional high school learning position. I adapted swiftly to diverse teaching environments, often accepting last-minute assignments across all secondary levels. Expertly prepared lesson plans on short notice, seamlessly integrating with various classroom settings. Collaborated effectively with staff to gather resources and information, ensuring smooth instructional delivery.· Recognized as preferred substitute within district, demonstrating exceptional adaptability and reliability in teaching roles.
