The understanding and modeling of natural or anthropogenic temporary flooded areas along rivers networks (riverbeds, wetland, deltas, small dams, etc) are of high importance for both ecosystems and human population (e.g. water resource assessment, flood risk evaluation). The modeling of these area needs a proper and precise description of the geometry, i.e. the topography or elevation field, which may be highly dynamic and need to be monitored. Moreover, these areas are less prone to conventional topographic surveys since they are flat and need high precision topographic instruments and/or the temporary immersed character of these areas make them unsuitable for infrared LiDAR survey.The internship aims to develop a generic spatial estimation method to reconstruct a 2D field (topographic field) from a set of both punctual data and ranked but not labeled contour lines.

I have experience working on battery management and cooling systems, as well as business development for Hyperloop India. Our team was selected as one of the 24 teams out of 2000 applicants from around the world to present our designs at the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition Design Weekend. This event was organized by SpaceX, Tesla Motors, and Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Our team consists of students from BITS, ISB, and IIM-A. We designed a safe, scalable, and feasible pod prototype for the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition II. Additionally, we performed a case study that covers the economic, transport, legal, and policy aspects of implementing this technology in our country for the Hyperloop One Global Challenge.
