My role as a CTS Field Ops Technical Trainer was thoroughly enjoyable as it varied from day to day.The main part of this roles is to train the Technical Representatives on subjects which have been identified as needing improvement. From the data gathered by our reporting teams, we can see what is costing the business the most whether this is equipment related or another gap in skillset that required some more in depth training. I would then build a training package and deliver it to the field teams and monitor the reports to confirm we have made a positive impact, or if follow up training is required. The other part of this role is planning. In-hand with the above statement, I have to split up the field teams and organize training venues across the country whilst also making sure that enough field engineers are still working on the area so we maintain a high level of service on the area and don't create a backlog of maintenance call outs. This methodology is much more cost effective as we avoid using contractors to cover the areas whilst our in-house engineers are on training.

During this period I worked on large scale installs across the UK. This team was created to manage the largest installs in the business from start to finish. This involved site meetings with contractors to confirm our electrical requirements, floor space requirements along with providing specific technical details where needed. These could range from dimensions for equipment to be mounted through a bar top to something as simple as power consumption of our different cooling units.This role also involved management of other Technical Representatives on the job, sometimes having a different technician on each day of the install. This meant keeping on top of what work had been completed and also briefing the next technician to attend on whats been completed and what was left to be completed. These jobs were all installed to the highest standards and met all installation specifications set out by the business.

During this period I worked as a Technical Representative on large scale events. This involved installing, maintaining and servicing all dispense equipment.I also completed large scale, multiple day installs across the UK for pubs, bars and restaurants where I would manage either 1 or 2 other Technical Representatives to complete the install to a high standard whilst meeting install standards set by the business.

Section commander in a section of one person.Deployed on “Op Olympics” as a Section Commander of an 8 man Vehicle Search Team in 2012. During this period I was responsible for the controlling entry to 1 of 2 entrances to the Excel Centre in London.
