• Integrated Instructor Operator Station (IOS) for F-18E/F flight simulator. The IOS is used to program the behavior of the simulator to train pilots to handle emergency conditions. Worked on complex memory sharing.
• Optimized build processes using pmake for parallel builds to significantly reduce system build time.
• Maintained battle field simulator used to train military leadership in large scale battle simulations.

Colorado Springs, Colorado Area

• Owned maintenance and enhancement of mission critical support system for US Air Force. System was built on obsolete/expensive platform. Worked proposal for porting the system to much cheaper PC platform including cost.
• Ported standards based astronomic algorithms from PC environment to SGI system to replace less reliable “home grown” algorithms for Air Force.
