I am currently a Senior at Eastern Kentucky University. I am majoring in Communication Studies and minoring in Business. I chose these areas of concentration because I wanted a versatile skill set that I could apply to a diverse range of possible careers. My primary career interest lies in marketing and promotional work. I was born and raised in Shelby County, Kentucky and have a passion for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. I would love to work in an industry that is unique to the state. My areas of study have given me a diverse set of skills that align with my passions, which I can apply to my future career. I am a "people person" and enjoy interacting with others. I can use my studies in interpersonal communication and public speaking to effectively interact with people in various settings. I have taken several business classes that will allow me to understand the basic logistics of working in any industry. Furthermore, my studies in organizational communication will enable me to function productively within a company and add value to the teams I am apart of. I plan to graduate from college and find a job that not only utilizes the expertise I have gained through my secondary education, but also aligns with my personal interests. I am a creative, outgoing, and passionate person, and I hope to find a job that channels these into a successful career.
