Fermentation Research FacilityWorked with scientific staff to develop IS solutions such as a Windows based Supervisory and Control and Data Acquistion (SCADA) application using Wonderware InTouch software for Dupont’s Fermentation Research Facility in their Bioprocess Development Center. This custom application collectes data from B. Braun fermentation equipment, pumps, scales and mass spectrometers and stores the data in a MS Access database.Developed an integrated pump network using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) so users could program feed pumps efficiently.Programmed, managed and maintained a legacy VAX VMS based process monitoring and control software application for fermentation and decontamination equipment.
