I ensure profitability with strategic guidance, effective leadership, and efficient execution.As the Director of Oncology Software Support, I manage and oversee Dignatel's OSS division providing our customers with appropriate and cost effective software support and service as an alternative to OEMs. Additionally responsible for introducing new and innovative products and services OEM's simply do not offer, such as our daily Proactive Monitoring Service.As Dignatel’s solutions architect, I implement Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and use machine data to develop proactive and predictive service capabilities for medical device manufacturers. I guide and assist service organizations toward proactive and predictive service in highly regulated environments.As lead consultant, I assist customers and clients by delivering superior service and value in a wide range of technical and management capacities including: database administration; data security and recovery; fast issue resolution; IT, business, and management guidance; and customer advocacy.

Senior team member of the Product Support Engineering group, responsible for Tier 2 and 3 support of our Oncology software products, with focus areas in MS SQL, Windows Server OS Systems, Citrix and Virtualization, Remote connectivity, IT infrastructure, backups, High Availability and Redundancy, and Cloud Connectivity. Assigned as the designated rep for one of our largest customer sites, spending a large percentage of my time being focused on project management and customer satisfaction related duties.Previously was assigned to and successfully completed a major Salesforce infrastructure upgrade project within Varian as a track lead in an Agile environment, was instrumental in developing a enterprise Knowledge Management System, deployed globally, which required strong project management skills in a high visibility project, within a highly regulated industry. Demonstrated considerable wide ranging skills bringing together different functional areas in the build process so that the end product truly represents all users and not just those of the designers. Worked closely with the manufacturing elements within Varian to ensure further operational abilities of our products with regards to each other and new cloud based products and technologies, and ensure the products themselves were developing along a line of stable inter connectivity and functional performance.Additionally servicing and troubleshooting numerous Varian and related software and infrastructure systems at customer locations generally located throughout the western US and Canada, with occasional travel out of this base area to destinations in both the US and International to perform similar work; performing mid-level project management duties, training of field employees, and supervising employees in field settings. Arriving in this senior position after having steadily advanced at Varian from the positions of National Tech Support, Field Installer and field service engineer.

Worked on various contracts as a consultant in Health and Safety for Electrical construction and maintenance, Environmental compliance, and Employee OSHA training, with an extended contract through Volt consulting, working exclusively for Southern California Edison as a field safety manager supervising high voltage line crews in the performance of their duties in the Santa Ana district and other nearby districts.

IT manager for the Western Region of Allwaste / PSC in Benicia California, Supervised and trained a staff of technicians, and managed a moderate sized data center on a day-to-day basis. Supported multiple locations in 8 western states. Performed project management services in both small scale projects, and a very large regional Y2K MIS project involving the upgrade and replacement of computer systems and networks for an international environmental company.

Responsible for worker training and managing safe working conditions at a hazardous waste transportation and remediation firm employing 250+ employees at 6 locations in California, Arizona, and Washington. Served as primary trainer and instructor for a variety of environmental and health-safety courses from OSHA H&S, First-Aid, and CPR to equipment such as forklift operations. Managed crews as a hands-on supervisor and team lead in field settings, and provided on-site supervision of remediation projects. Founded a confined space rescue program which was a successful business operation far after I had moved up within the company. Performed on-site contract safety and training consulting services for our customers as well as our employees as a value added service for our best customers.

Environmental Branch Manager for Fort Hunter Liggett, a US Army Fort in California. Overseeing contractor and staff operations at 12 sites on the post. Technical adviser to the Fort Hunter Liggett Base Commander with regard to general environmental issues, waste minimization, product and process selection and substitution, and general hazardous waste & compliance issues. Manager of a licensed hazardous waste generator facility. Supervised & monitored 31 part time employees. Served as the Army’s local representative on various local remediation projects and contractor operations from simple disposal matters to serving as the site representative for a 12 Million dollar remediation project. Began employment there in 1984 as a WG13 Journeyman Electrician, and continually advanced and progressed until reaching GS-11 status.
