This included:* Microsoft Active Directory* Microsoft Exchange Server* Microsoft DNS Server* Microsoft DHCP Server* Meraki (Cisco) MX-100 firewall appliance* Sonicwall NSA 2600 firewall appliance* Barracuda Spam Firewall* Barracuda Message Archiver 450 (Worked closely with company attorneys to provide them will all emails searches used for evidence Also did all emails searches need for company lawsuits)Researched and created VB.NET console applications to automate manual data processing thereby freeing up departments to concentrate on more important tasks.Due to outgrowing our 3 node Citrix XENServer system I spearheaded the task of converting the Citrix system over to a 4 node VMware system.

Was tasked with keeping the company's network infrastructure functional and up to date.Created C# services to parse incoming pharmacy orders and pass data to the iSeries for order processing.Converted roughly 30 physical servers to a 3 node Citrix XENServer system saving the company money on the datacenter's utility bills. This was a project I took upon myself to research and deploy.

My initial project when hired was to design and deployed a new corporate website using ASP and Microsoft IIS. I was also responsible for providing some customer tech support to the 1600 pharmacies we serviced. It was my responsibility to provide administration for our Windows 2000 Server and IIS server.I also designed a company intranet site using ASP.net which allowed Customer Service to access important data stored on our iSeries DB2 databases and our Microsoft SQL Servers.The company iSeries was printing directly to the printers. When a printer ran out of paper the job would need to be restarted. Even though I was told it would not work I researched how to get the iSeries to print to Microsoft print server. Thereby eliminating the need to restart jobs if the printer ran out of toner or paper.

Due to my expanding knowledge of our customers' computer systems I was promoted to Customer Tech Support Manager. Spearheaded the deployment of the DEA's Controlled Substance Ordering System (CSOS) as well as being responsible for rolling the technology out to our 1600 customers. CSOS allowed the company to accept narcotic orders via the internet therefore eliminating the need of paper E22 forms for pharmacies to order. This saved time as now a pharmacy could receive their narcotics the next day instead of two days.
