I worked on a multidisciplinary health care project with a team of health care professionals, psychologists, behavioural scientists and engineers. My role was to conduct behavioural and neuroimaging-based experiments and to employ machine learning based solutions for 'speech and brain' problems.

Marie-Sklodowska Curie Research Fellow-ENRICHI worked on software-based interventions to enhance communication abilities of people with speech disorders. The tools used to achieve this were voice conversion, machine learning, speech synthesis, speech processing and signal processing.In addition to enriching disordered speech, I also worked with evaluation of speech which involves listening tests, some objective speech evaluation metrics and neuroimaging. The two main metrics we focus are on intelligibility and listening effort. Evaluating disordered speech and the software-based enrichments helps in tracking progress.
