“An Engineer by Profession, An Entrepreneur by Passion.”After working as an Estimation engineer for 4yrs in a private construction company, I realized I can either spend my whole life contributing to other’s vision or I can devote my skills & capabilities to make my own dreams come true, while creating opportunities for others. That’s when my uncle Mr. Saleem Ahmed, CEO of M/s Dahbashi Engineering, Dubai introduced me into spare parts business as one of their associates in territory of Odisha. M/s Dahbashi Engineering, a giant in the market of Middle East & Africa, a well-known name in the industry of heavy earthmoving equipment & energy solutions, serving since 1985. Also, appointed associate M/s ICPS Engineering, Delhi in the year 1994 to provide similar services in Indian market since then.The Rs.120 million business - M/s ICPS Engineering, had tried many a times in past to put their feet in the markets of Odisha looking at the scope & opportunities, however couldn’t cover the full length and breadth of Odisha market. This is where I come into the picture. Since I am born & raised in Odisha, I know the market well.At the age of 27 I formed my own company, named “M/s GKC Engineering” as an associate of M/s ICPS Engineering & running it as the Director cum Odisha Territory in-charge to tap on the unexplored markets of Odisha and increase brand visibility. Our achievement speaks for itself. In less than a quarter since formation, we’ve served many happy customers, where our products and services were highly appreciated by companies like HARSCO, Gopalpur Port, OSL, Paradip Parivahan, L.M Hati etc. The journey of mere 1 order per week to 10 per week was not an easy one. However, by executing a proper strategic growth plan we have been able to reach this milestone. As they say Rome was not built in a day, my quest doesn’t end here. I thrive for best in class service & world class quality products (spare parts).
