Throughout my career I have enjoyed developing long-term relationships and focusing on improving financial and strategic reporting and management, whether in the Lloyd's of London insurance market or British schools overseas."Before Berlin" I was a senior Reinsurance Underwriter at Lloyd's of London for nearly 20 years, specialising in European and US Property and Personal Accident Treaty business. Since moving to Berlin for 4 years in 2010, I have worked in the international education sector: initially as a Governor, then taking on Marketing Officer roles, both for the Berlin British School and for a UK independent school. Since April 2017 I have been responsible for managing the COBIS Accreditation and Compliance school improvement and quality assurance process, which has been accessed by over 300 schools worldwide. This non-judgemental, supportive programme offers a differentiated approach to compliance - considering schools in their unique context brings huge benefits for schools at all stages of their development journey.
