In 2007, purchased a pre-owned mobile children’s fitness and nutrition program. The program grew from five schools (100 children), to reaching and teaching over 2,500 children in 60+ sites (early childhood centers, preschools, NC Pre-K’s). Pre-Covid, recruited, developed and managed a staff of 18 part-time employees.Create and develop lesson plans/programming for Fitness Stars (preschool fitness), Camp Fit (school age fitness), Dance Stars (dance program for 2-8 year olds), Music Stars (preschool music), Yoga Stars (yoga program for 2-10 year olds) and Kindness Rocks (kindness program). Every program included nutrition education.Pre-Covid, through marketing and community relationships, grew our revenue to over six figures per month.Opened PLAYfitness, a children’s movement storefront site, in May of 2018 to present. In our first year, we reached our goal of 100 families and in addition to offering Stretch-n-Grow programming, we offer Family & Me Programming, a Drop-In Care program and work with community organizations to assist in the delivery of their programs.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: marketing, lesson planning, classroom management, teaching, staff development and retention, social media campaign management, accounting and budgetary analysis, grant development, community partnership development and scheduling.
