While at OwensTarabichi, I gained valuable litigation experience by assisting in copyright infringement and breach of contract cases. Simultaneously, I was the lead attorney for a bankruptcy case for which I drafted initial disclosures, discovery requests, answers, and summary judgment motion. For all the cases, I was involved in setting up mediation and/or settlements, contacting expert witnesses, and meeting clients. I became knowledgeable with both state and federal court systems and processes. Lastly, I assisted in patent claim writing, drafting IDS, and PCR patents.

At FLASH, I interned alongside the Director of FLASH to help clients reach the next step in their cable piracy copyright cases. I initially met with clients to explain the court process, and then drafted the necessary motions, counter-complaints, and/or answers.

During my time as an intern as Cisco, I focused on streamlining Cisco’s patent portfolio system by interviewing inventors, pinpointing changes in the internal process and eventually presenting the findings to Cisco's IP team. Additionally, I supported Cisco’s trademark team by drafting cease-and-desist letter to enforce domain names and providing write-ups on potential trademark disputes for pre-litigation analysis.

While at Santa Clara University, I conducted comprehensive research through LexisNexis, Westlaw, and JSTOR to get an in-depth understanding on state hypnosis legislation through the past twenty years. The end goal was assisting the professor in updating citations and outdated substantive law in his book on mental illness and hypnosis.

As an intern at Samsung, I was responsible for legal contract comparisons and updating the contract management system. Along with those tasks, I gained patent prosecution experience through prior art searches, abandonment analysis, attending patent examination meetings, and using PAIR.

Worked under an attorney on a post-conviction case. Searched for client’s relatives and other suspects through Merlin and updated case status on Amicus Attorney. Contacted courts about finding and retaining evidence and private investigators for help regarding the case. Wrote memorandums for the class and for future students. Read and studied the trial transcripts to find possible paths to client's exoneration.
