I am an clinical dietitian at Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC Children's). Currently I am working inpatient for the Medical-Surgical unit and outpatient in craniofacial and muscular dystrophy clinics. My goal is to work towards my CSP certification and immerse myself in the pediatric population by gaining more experience and exposure in order to find a specialty area that I am most passionate about. My prior work experience includes working at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, Oregon where I covered inpatient pediatric and adult care and outpatient feeding clinics. I have also completed a 18 week pediatric dietitian residency at CHOC Children's prior to transitioning into my current role. My past education includes: the dietetic internship at Oregon Health and Science University (2018) and the DPD undergraduate program at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo (2017). My Nutrition Philosophy: Nutrition is an aspect that everyone relies on, but is also personalized to each individual. It is also the foundational health aspect that encompasses preventative care and assists in speedier recovery.
