This internet startup recruited me to build out the technology strategy, infrastructure, and operations. It was funded by VC/PE firm Vulcan Ventures along with American Express, Disney, Sabre Holdings, SunAmerica, Mitsubishi, Loews, and others. We created services for the ultra-secure transmission of value-bearing financial documents. In this role, I oversaw an engineering team of 5 in the architecture design and operational oversight of a NOC/Help Desk support more than 10,000 users internationally. Key Achievements:► Led the upgrade of many legacy systems and a complete revamp of the network architecture► Enabled the removal of IT silos to achieve a greater level of collaboration► Helped to create a new portfolio software management system with our NY and Tokyo teams
