Duties & Responsibilities:• To coach, train, and support newly recruited logistics team leaders for the MSF projects. This includes organizing logistics activities, overseeing four mobile clinics, offices, warehouses, and housing facilities according to MSF standards.• To manage 62 logisticians, supporting 150 staff at the Sittwe office, 10 at Mrauk U, and 10 at the Pauktaw Roginja mobile clinics. To ensure the careful management of the project’s security status, particularly due to its sensitive nature, and to handle the speed boat fleet for transportation.• To manage logistics for Thaketa and Insein HIV Mega Clinics, referral labs, and 41 decentralization sites, supporting 165 staff with a team of 76 logisticians.• To plan, implement, and monitor logistics activities, overseeing the supply chain, office and lodging facilities, material resources, and reporting tools to ensure project success.• To coordinate and supervise the logistics team while handling recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. Ensure accurate inventory levels for linens, towels, costumes, and hotel items.• Handle maintenance issues promptly. Lead monthly inventories and maintain accurate stock lists while meeting financial budgets for the wardrobe and linen stores.• Coordinate with shore-side partners to ensure smooth operations. Oversee equipment and maintain standards through regular inspections.• Facilitate department meetings and daily briefings. Collaborate with the shore-side warehouse team to ensure timely upkeep and replacement of all hotel items.• Ensure safety and security in loading and store areas for all personnel. Conduct regular inspections and facilitate departmental meetings, including daily pre-shift gatherings.• Report to the inventory officer regarding stock discrepancies and maintenance issues. Manage personnel files, conduct performance reviews, and handle any disciplinary actions as necessary.
