Graduated as Cardiac Physiologist in 1999.Mainly dedicated to the field of Arrhythmology since 2000, specifically :- Electrophysiology studies and ablations (RF and cryoenergy), 3D mapping systems;- ICD, CRT and PM devices - implants, follow-up, troubleshooting;- Remote monitoring for ICD, CRT and PPM from different companies.Other areas of work at Hospital de Santa Marta, Lisbon, Portugal, until 2010-2012 :- Cath lab - diagnostic angiograms and intervention, on-call rotation for 8 years (until 2010);- Holter monitoring and analysis.- Tilt Test and Tilt Training (series of sessions of in-hospital and home orthostatic training for patients with recurrent reflex syncope).Has been working in the UK since 2013, of which 5 years at Royal Brompton Hospital (2014-2019), London, and ongoing since 2019 at Royal Papworth Hospital in Cambridge, both in EP and CRM.IBHRE Certification in EP (CEPS) done in 2009.IBHRE Certification in Pacing/Cardiac Devices (CCDS) done in 2015.
